Since its establishment in 1978 Senia Lawyers have represented various Clubs and Associations from commencement to management, legal issues and winding up. Many of these were done on pro-bono bases in order to assist the particular club or Association and as part of our firms contribution to our community. The organisations involved have been numerous and varied with the individuals concerned fluctuating but in all cases we have had good relationships with those concerned.
Currently incorporation of an association is not a difficult matter and should be encouraged with liability of individuals concerned protected. The Constitution and Rules should be drafted in such a way as to reflect this and the true purpose and function of the Association and the rights of the members and stakeholders clearly protected.
